Health & Safety Policy

 

It is the policy of Capital Civils Ltd T/A Capital Site Services to provide working conditions that are safe and healthy for their employees and those persons who may be affected by their operations and works. Capital site Services will carry out its operations so that, as far as reasonably practical, the health, safety condition of any person or property will not be adversely affected by their undertakings.

The requirements of the health and safety at work Act 1974, all duties, regulations and obligations imposed by the act affecting the activities of Capital Site Services are to be complied with and the legal compliance shall be as a minimum standard.  Capital Site Services shall seek to create a culture of continuous improvements.

The Managing Director and supervisors are committed to the provision of adequate resources, information and training to ensure that its workforce can deliver the aim of continuous improvements at all times. The Managing Director will convey the policy to all members of the company to ensure that all are aware of the company’s aims.

Performance will be monitored and measured against the objectives set by the Managing Director and will comply with all current legislation. The findings will be conveyed to the company workforce and reviewed on regular basis with any proposals for continuous improvement of the standard achieved.

Monitoring of the health and safety standards will be undertaken by on site supervision, who will receive training, to ensure that all activities undertaken by Capital site Services , as far as reasonably practical, are subject to continuous improvement.

Capital Site Services  shall review this document and make appropriate changes, subject to local arrangement, to maintain compliance with current legislation, railway group & company standards and industry best practice.
